United Methodist Men

Our Purpose

“Helping men grow in Christ, so others may know Christ.”

The United Methodist Men (UMM) is an organization open to all men of Elm Grove UMC who want to grow in their faith, build friendships, serve others, and make a difference in our church and community.

Throughout the year, we strive to maintain a balance of service, fellowship, spiritual growth, and the business of our ministry.

Four Areas of Focus

Service
We look for opportunities to serve others and put our faith into action, including projects such as Habitat for Humanity and other community outreach efforts.

Fellowship
We enjoy spending time together and building friendships through social activities, including sporting events and other gatherings.

Spiritual Growth
Through small-group studies and other opportunities for faith development, we encourage one another to grow closer to Christ.

Ministry & Leadership
We come together to plan, organize, and support the ongoing work of the United Methodist Men and the ministries we serve.

Serving Our Church & Community

The United Methodist Men hosts fundraisers to help support mission and outreach projects. We also hold work days to help with repairs and maintenance around the church and parsonage.
