Shepherding Ministry

No one should ever feel forgotten or alone.

The Shepherding Ministry at Elm Grove UMC provides a personal connection between our church and its members. Our Shepherds care for groups of approximately 10–20 church families, staying connected with our active members, shut-ins, college students, military members, and prospective members.

Our dedicated team of Shepherds has answered the call to nurture our congregation with love, compassion, encouragement, and prayer.

Staying Connected

Our Shepherds make an effort to connect with each family at least once a month. Sometimes that connection may be a card or phone call. It might be a visit, a friendly hello at church, or simply remembering someone in prayer.

It's not about how we connect—it's about making sure our church family knows that someone cares, someone is praying, and someone is there.
