Contemporary Bible Study

A Contemporary Bible Study (CBS) was started in the fall of 2007 by Peggy Laing to offer church members a hands-on way to learn about scripture and apply it to modern life.

Most of the one-act plays used in CBS were written by Lutheran Minister Curt Joseph and his wife, Lisa.  The plays are often humorous, but they do not omit any key points stated in the Holy Bible.

The acting talents of the members can be seen in the church and throughout the community.  The group performs every third month for the Body and Soul Service.  You may also find them performing during a Sunday morning worship service.

CBS meets at 6:45p Monday evenings in the Winsome Class room and is open to everyone in the church.  All attendees are encouraged, but not required to participate in the plays.
